Guru-Poornima

“Guru-poornima: Reverence for the Teacher “
“Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwara; Guru Sakshat Param Brahma, Tasmai Shri Guruve Namah.”
Gurupoornima also known as Vyasa Purnima, is a sacred occasion that celebrates the Guru-Disciple relationship, highlighting the role of teachers in shaping the lives of their students. It is a day to express our deep gratitude, reverence, and love towards our teachers who have guided us on the path of knowledge and enlightenment. As we celebrate Gurupoornima, let us cherish the bond between teachers and students, fostering a culture of learning, respect, and gratitude in our society. On this auspicious day we, at Soundarya School-CBSE, Havanoor Layout, held a special assembly where we had come together to celebrate and pay homage to the invaluable contribution of our teachers. Students from G8-10 gave a special talk on teachers, recited guru Paduka Stotram, and Doha for their teachers. Doha and Guru Paduka Stotram are profound expressions of devotion and gratitude towards the Guru. Through these verses, we acknowledge the Guru’s wisdom, unconditional love, and transformative power.
