“Let’s nurture nature so that we can have a better future”
World Environment Day was held at Soundarya School-CBSE, Havanoor Layout, on 5/06/2023 at 8.30 am in the ground. The theme for World Environment Day was taken up as #BeatPlasticPollution. The world is being inundated by plastic pollution. Hence, we enacted a role play that focussed on solutions to plastic pollution. This celebration aims to raise awareness about the need for environmental protection. Thus, this was a reminder that people’s actions on plastic pollution matter a lot to the environment.
Principal Mrs. Suma S Rao addressed the gathering and stressed Reducing plastic consumption by choosing alternatives, and Single-Use Plastics: The students of Soundarya took a pledge on 3R’s Reduce, reuse and recycle and to commit and encourage the reduction of our community’s footprint.
