Soundarya School CBSE

General Guideliness

  1. Parents play an integral role in our school community, and we kindly request their cooperation in upholding the guidelines that are designed to benefit their child and ensure the smooth operation of the school.
  2. The school diary serves as a vital link between teachers, students, and parents. We ask parents to acknowledge the remarks provided by teachers in the school diary and to duly sign the ‘Record of Circulars’ page when circulars are issued.
  3. We emphasize that students should refrain from bringing mobile phones to school. In cases of emergencies, students are encouraged to utilize the school’s landline.
  4. The school places a strong emphasis on punctuality, regular attendance, adherence to uniform and dress code regulations, good grooming, and dedication to academic and assignment responsibilities. We discourage students from being absent for purely social events.
  5. During school hours, parents or guardians are not permitted to meet with students or teachers. However, they are welcome to meet with the Principal, coordinators, and teachers between 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays and 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
  6. Parents or guardians are not authorized to pick up their child during school hours for any reason. Classroom access during school hours is strictly prohibited.
In case of an emergency or illness, parents are requested to report to the front office.
  7. The office will issue a permission slip/gate pass to the Principal/Coordinator, who will ensure that the child is safely brought to the front office by support staff.
  8. The gate pass, duly signed by the principal, must be presented to the security personnel at the gate.
  9. No student or staff member will be permitted to answer phone calls during school hours. Urgent messages received on the phone will, however, be relayed.
  10. We kindly ask parents to ensure that their children do not wear gold bangles, chains, finger rings, ostentatious ear-rings, or any other valuable ornaments to school.
  11. Please refrain from sending students who are infected with Measles, Mumps, Chickenpox, or any other contagious diseases to school until they have fully recovered.
  12. For confidentiality, we request that all private communications be sealed in envelopes.
  13. Parents are requested to send lunch and any other materials related to school activities with their child. Regrettably, we cannot accept items sent later due to security considerations.
  14. It is important to note that the school does not assume responsibility for a student’s conduct outside of school premises. However, we will address any serious misconduct that occurs outside our premises once it is brought to our attention.
  15. Students are expected to maintain discipline while using school transportation services. The school reserves the right to withdraw bus facilities in cases of disciplinary issues.
  16. Students are not permitted to visit a relative’s or friend’s house directly from school.
