Middle Stage
(Grades 6-8):
The MIDDLE STAGE aims to provide students with a broad and balanced education. As NEP 2020 we envision a flexible curriculum, allowing students to choose subjects based on their interests and aptitude, fostering a deeper engagement with learning. We understand the unique challenges that adolescents face. Our supportive environment helps students navigate through physical, emotional, and social changes.
We offer a well-rounded curriculum that fosters a deeper understanding of subjects, exposure to extracurricular activities, and opportunities for leadership development. At this stage we emphasize skill-building, and students are exposed to a range of subjects, including arts, sciences, mathematics, social sciences, and vocational courses. The focus is on developing life skills, critical thinking, and creativity, preparing students for the next stage of their education.
Grade VI To VIII
Middle school offers an expanded curriculum to cater to the growing abilities of children in assimilating information and grasping abstract ideas. The curriculum mainly emphasizes making children creative, talented, caring, and compassionate. Middle school programme further focusses on strengthening the skills and competencies of the children, through comprehensive and innovative learning abilities.
The curriculum also emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach, enabling students to understand the connectivity between various subjects. During this phase of learning, students are exposed to research-based projects, model making, etc. to gain hands-on experience. Students’ communication skills are nurtured through well-designed activities like debates, group discussions, elocution, drama, skits, role play, etc. The curriculum provides opportunities for field trips and educational excursions for the students so that extended learning takes place beyond the classroom to acquire social and cultural skills.
The entire programme is aligned according to the objectives laid by the CBSE and provides a sound base for the students to pursue Secondary education
